Florida Throws Down!

Hulaween has one of the best lineups of the summer featuring an array of talent.

The festival in Live Oak, Florida will be featuring a ridiculous lineup featuring 3 nights of The String Cheese Incident, Odesza, Jamiroquai, Janelle Monae, Tipper, STS9, Stephen Marley, Vulfpeck, and Gramatik just to name a few. The festival has such depth of talent that you will almost certainly discover a new act that blows you away.

Jamiroquai, a 90's jazz-funk band returns to the US this year for the first time in 13 years.  Enjoy the music video below of "Virtual Insanity".

Hulaween will surely bring out the finest costumes and characters over the Halloween weekend. Slightly smaller acts that you may not have heard of and should absolutely not miss include: Turkuaz, a eccentrically colorful, funk powerhouse band full of  horns and singers; Jade Cicada, an infectious, bass heavy-hitter that always leaves you wanting more; Sunsquabi a Boulder-local funky jamtronica band who is growing exponentially in front of our eyes; and Fisher from Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird label who will be bringing the dance party with the house vibes!

The festival previously announced Canadian DJ and record producer REZZ and the pioneering electronic trio The Glitch Mob as the first two headliners, and now Shambhala has returned to announce their full headliner lineup for 2018 which includes Dirtybird founder Claude VonStroke and his hip-hop leaning project Barclay Crenshaw, legendary UK dance music aficionado Feed Me, renowned DJ and event promoter Destructo, San Francisco based DJ and Dirtybird favourite Justin Martin, and hip-hop meets electronic producer Mr. Carmack.

Other highlights include mysterious bass music producer Malaa, Slovenian electronic musician Gramatik, UK drum & bass duo Camo & Krooked, ubiquitous UK hip-hop artist Dizzee Rascal, Montreal dubstep duo Adventure Club, the electrifying 2¢ project from Craze and Four Color Zack, Mad Decent duo Boombox Cartel, turntablist legend DJ Qbert, masked Canadian trio Black Tiger Sex Machine, Montreal bass music phenom Snails, Grammy winning live duo Brasstracks, glitched out Australian act Opiuo, and a collaborative set between Ooah and Boreta of The Glitch Mob under the name 29 Palms.

Divide Music Festival – A Mountainous Escape

The Divide Music Festival, taking place July 22-24, 2016 in Fraser Valley, Colorado will feature top acts from across the nation including Kid Cudi, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Fray, CAKE, Passion Pit, Blondie, Miike Snow, Bleachers, Saint Motel, JR JR and more. The festival will also include surprise guests and local Colorado favorites.

The inaugural weekend-long concert and camping experience will kick off Friday, July 22, 2016 and end Sunday, July 24th. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend one-day performances or stay at the designated RV and tent-camping grounds for the three-day event. Event producers, Team Player Productions, have put together an eclectic mix of performers from Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist Kid Cudi to Billboard Music Award-winner The Fray. In addition, fans can hear from indie folk musicians like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Swedish psychedelic pop group Miike Snow, and all-time American favorite rock band Blondie. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in outdoor thrills including mountain bike tours, guided trail runs, morning yoga sessions and other group-inspired activities. The event will also feature the finest Colorado craft beers, local food vendors, and crafters and artisans from across the country.

In case you have missed the last 9 years, this festival has had time to brew and its mix of flavorous sounds seem to be just right this year.  Drum roll… The lineup for the 10th annual Sonic Bloom festival….. headliners STS9 (2 sets), Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ set), Emancipator, The Trancident, Talib Kweli, Random Rab, Phutureprimitive and many more.

On stage will be a legendary collaboration session called the SONIC BLOOM SuperJam featuring Dave Watts, Garrett Sayers, Joey Porter, Jans Ingber, Ryan Jalbert, Gabriel Mervine, Matt Pitts, Jason Hann (& more TBA). Additional acts include: Caspa, Manic Focus, Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation), ill-esha, Yamn, Nominus, LYNX, The Malah, saQi and Adham Shaikh, to name a few. This is the second year of The Road to SONIC BLOOM tour, which will send a roving lineup of present, past and future SONIC BLOOM, Sonic Blossom and The Unified Field performers across the country to spread the BLOOM vibe. A combination of wildly varied lineup of DJs, producers, live electronic acts, with painters, dancers and performance artists will criss-cross the country this spring as we approach the summer festival.
