C-Villain: Rap Superstar in Eugene
C-Villain is a talented cat who currently lives in Eugene, Oregon. Originally from Oakland, California, his new album dropped under a month ago called “Stereos, Dominoes, & a few Flows”. The album is available for free download. C-Villain spits the truth of the college lifestyle over some heavy and well thought out beats. FreioMusic has had the opportunity to see & record C-Villain live at the Granary with TribalSpectrum. After hearing the difference between studio tracks and the live set, we have come to realize that C-Villain has freestyle skills far beyond what the studio tracks illustrate. That said, the album demonstrates an attention to detail and the professionalism of a star. With female vocals on the chorus, featured artists on the verse, C-Villain orchistrates his rap in a way rainy Eugene has never seen. Influenced by the DR. and Mac Dre, C-villain is focused and aiming for the top. Certainly a rising artist, and arguably the best rapper to come out of Eugene in 10 years.
