Yemanjo

The featured artist in this episode is Ben Harris aka Yemanjo.
Producer, DJ, and singer/multi-instrumentalist.

His original music is a polyrhythmic concoction of downtempo/ethnic house beats blended with traditional instruments and tribal chants from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East–influences drawn from Harris’ near-constant world travels.

Yemanjo’s unique and dynamic live set features Harris singing in three languages and playing live trumpet and other instruments over his original beats alongside guest musicians. Yemanjo is an embodiment of the ancient concept of “music as medicine”, and brings an intention of healing and transformation to every production and live set.
